Abby is a life-long North Adams native and recent graduate from Williams College, where she received a B.A. in English and Psychology. She began writing for the North Adams Transcript at age sixteen with a teen/music culture column called "Abby's Road." In college she wrote regularly for the Williams Record, and enjoyed internships at Time Out Sydney during her time abroad and at Berkshires Week of the Berkshire Eagle the summer before her senior year.
When she's not writing or checking out the local music scene, Abby enjoys spending time with her large family (she is the fifth of six children). She dabbles in home-brewing (best brew so far: Raspberry Hefeweizen), and can often be caught watching one of the many reality television shows about making cakes. She is very excited to be the newest member of the Berkshire Living team.
